Adding a new physician or provider to an existing clinic?
Please contact the MHN Provider Relations Department at (503) 413-5800 or email MHN Contracting as soon as you know you will be adding a new physician or provider in your office. Generally, physicians or providers hired as employees of a corporation or in partnership agreements will be offered contracts as a courtesy to our existing providers. Keep in mind, the credentialing process can take a number of months and must be fully completed before contract effective dates are issued.

If you have questions about or would like to check the status of your credentialing application please contact the MHN Provider Relations Department at (503) 413-5800 or email MHN Credentialing.
Updating information for a contracted provider?
If you need to report changes to your physical address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number or billing address, please contact MHN Provider Relations Department in writing or email MHN Provider Updates. MHN notifies several Payors of these changes twice a month on your behalf. Changes to tax identification number or legal entity (corporation, partnership, merger, etc.) may require review and possible contracting. This can delay claims processing and payment until a review is completed. Recommended advance notification to MHN of any changes is at least 6 weeks.
